Auto Collision Repair

Collision Repair Technology

In Collision Repair Technology, students gain experience by working on actual vehicles. Students in this program wash, wax, detail, sand, prime, paint, repair dents, fabricate with metal, weld metal and aluminum, as well as perform adhesive repairs on plastics, and complete their own damage repair estimates with the help of a computer program.  In addition to these technical skills students will learn “soft skills” such as customer service, job interview, resume writing, communication, teamwork, and other valuable employability skills. Students will also participate in our career tech student organization SkillsUSA. This organization gives students the opportunity to become better student leaders and to compete in our leadership and technical contests on the District, State and National levels.
